As a creative intern, you will embrace challenges, have ambition, own responsibility, and drive your own development. You're obsessed with telling the right story, at the right time, on the right platform, for the right people. You are passionate about telling human stories with empathy and creating content that motivates actions.
The Role:
  • - Remote paid internship with 20 to 30 hours of work per week.
  • - Attend weekly workshops to gain knowledge of the workings of the company in all departments.
  • - Participate in a final showcase with all ClickUp interns, showing off what you’ve learned and accomplished throughout the summer.
  • - You will focused on design, social, or writing and work alongside some of the best in the business on our creative team!
  • - You will gain hands-on experience in these potential areas:
    • Assisting in managing ClickUp social media profiles through drafting replies to all messages, comments, feed comments, story replies/reactions, and direct message requests while speaking in ClickUp's unique voice.
    • Research and create tik toks, Instagram stories, and utilize templates for social media posts.
    • Creating customized content for our website as needed including copy, graphics, and GIFs.
    • Email management increasing reach and promote more relevant content.
    • Compiling early drafts and outlines of our internal blog and guest posts.
    • Reviewing existing blog articles to determine additional keyword opportunities.
    • Writing a punchy social post caption for each blog post.
    • Writing new voiceover scripts for Feature Video Tutorial videos that walk through an ideal use case and showcase the core capabilities of a new feature and how it should be used.
    • Transferring over Design files from Figma to Illustrator and assisting the team with small edits.
    • Checking Wistia videos for closed captions and place order for automated captions.
    • Fielding, reviewing, and approving sponsorship request emails.
    • Executing swag requests, coordinating and creating tasks for consequent social posts.
  • - A strong interest in a career in creative.
  • - Currently studying for a communications, journalism, PR, marketing, or creative related degree graduating in 2021.
  • - Inquisitive and curious interest in tech and the SaaS landscape.
  • - Passion for storytelling through multiple media types, both visual and written.
  • - Able to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with a hands-on attitude.
  • - Able to prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative, work both independently and collaboratively, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • - Superpowers in communicating with positivity and precision via the written word with a high typing speed.
  • - General knowledge on how to build out a social presence creating an experience for the consumer.
  • - Knowledge of how social media and creative fits within a larger content/marketing ecosystem.
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • - Experience utilizing WordPress and building blogs.
  • - Early to moderate familiarity with Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud software.
  • - Fluency in cultural trends and news in priority categories like software, personal/consumer technology, productivity, culture, music, film, etc.

This is a paid internship with the intent to offer full-time employment and to qualified interns at the completion of the program. It is our goal for all our summer interns to have the opportunity to have a long-term career at ClickUp. For interns still in school, we would love to extend the internship throughout the school year! We understand that school is your top priority and we have designed our internship with some scheduling flexibility in order to best accommodate class schedules during the semester.
