We're looking for an analytical and strategic partner to help establish our Deal Desk function.

As a Deal Desk Manager, you will be helping us close strategic deals. You will be a central view into various negotiations and help ensure sound pricing and commercial terms practices as well as aid in bringing in the necessary internal groups to get a deal across the line. You will be helping ensure sales data integrity, performing contract creation and reconciliation, and partnering with the sales team to help push deals over the finish line. Top candidates will have experience working on saas contracts within mid-size to large companies, across a variety of industries.

To be successful in this role, you must be excellent at cross-functional communications, data-driven, customer-oriented, and have very strong business acumen. This role is a true value-add partner to our sales team as we continue to drive forward at record pace.
The Role:
  • - Be a trusted partner to the sales team on deal structures, quote preparation, obtaining approvals, and order processing.
  • - Provide proactive support, guidance, and creative solutions to the sales team to help drive new deals as well as for renewal / up-sell / cross-sell opportunities while being aware of relevant customer information, provisioning, and current billing.
  • - Ensure new contracts signed are duly reflected with material terms in Salesforce.
  • - Provide analysis around trends in customer requests and pricing.
  • - Build and maintain a strong rapport with Sales, Finance, Services, and other cross-functional teams and serve as a key liaison on deal-related topics.
  • - Think strategically when designing deals to propose solutions that fit a customer’s unique needs and maximize revenue.
  • - Identify, evaluate, document, and maintain Deal Desk process and procedure.
  • - You will report directly to the VP of Sales Operations.
Qualifications:
  • - 3+ years Deal Desk, Legal, Contract Management, Sales Operations, Finance experience, preferably within a SaaS environment.
  • - Experience in Salesforce, Outreach, or ClickUp a plus.
  • - Excellent understanding of subscription-based pricing, professional services, support fees.
  • - Knowledgeable, experienced in deal constructs, special pricing, operations, and revenue policies for ad hoc troubleshooting of deal issues and sales escalations.
  • - Able to navigate internal resources to obtain advice and guidance on deal construction and any obstructions or potential blockers to getting approved and booked.
  • - Passion for improving processes and making them more efficient with high attention to detail.
  • - High level of quality assurance & data quality in regards to documentation.
  • - Team player mindset, taking satisfaction from sales representatives closing deals and teams making quota.
  • - You have great people skills: genuine, warm, positive, engaging, connects well with people, friendly, empathetic, you show tact and poise under pressure when dealing with difficult interpersonal situations, and possess a high degree of patience.
