Chief Executive Officer
The Role:
  • - Day to day management of engineers, including scrum ceremonies and ensuring action items are documented and followed upon.
  • - Manage a variety of projects, be able to wear many hats, ultimately hold people accountable, including remote engineering team members.
  • - Coordinate communication with Product Managers, especially where additional scoping is needed.
  • - Introduce scalable, repeatable processes that help engineering and product teams deliver successful products.
  • - Be the source of truth for status on product and engineering projects.
  • - Prevent people from forgetting things.
  • - Partner closely with CEO, CTO, and product teams to manage change as the team grows and shifts in structure.
  • - Recommend new features for our product to help you do your job more efficiently.
  • - Foster and grow a culture of striving for efficient code and craft team processes that ensure long-term health and team cohesion.
  • - Manage 1:1s with the engineering team.
  • - Partner closely with CTO to manage growth and career paths for engineers.
  • - 6+ years experience as a scrum master, certificate in agile processes, certificate in 6 sigma or equivalent.
  • - 6+ years as a program manager.
  • - 6+ years as a manager of a technical team.
  • - Experience with project management apps.
  • - Experience with Agile practices.
  • - Experience working with teams building highly-distributed, large-scale solutions.
  • - Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
